Doctor's Days

I told my mom when I was ten years old that I wanted to be a doctor. It’s what I’ve spent most of my hours on earth doing (studying, training, working - days, nights, weekends and holidays).

"Doctor" is written in front of my name, sewn on my white coat, said over the hospital paging system and branded on my identity.

My patients have shared their pain, their fears and their bodies with me. Their stories are sutured into mine. Put on a some scrubs and a stethoscope and listen in.
